For 8 years, Tangerine has been awarded for being the best breakfast and brunch spot in Boulder County, thanks to Tangerine’s loyal following and innovative take on morning fare. The menu is crafted around natural, farm-fresh ingredients and features seasonal vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Tangerine’s brunch blends American with Mediterranean-inspired recipes, in addition to offering a full bar and locally roasted Salto coffees. Alec Schuler, Tangerine founder, chef and proprietor, said his egg Benedicts are always a hit, and the “great hollandaise sauce is irresistible.” Since the spring, Tangerine has expanded outdoor dining in Boulder and Lafayette, and in cooler weather Schuler hopes to serve customer in “mini greenhouses in the parking lots.” Like most restaurants, Schuler said, “(We) are trying everything and anything to help us get through the pandemic” and best serve those seeking a terrific breakfast or brunch. 2777 Iris Ave., Boulder, 303.443.2333; 300 S.
